How the Summer Reading Program Works
1. Children from infants to 5th grade can register for the reading program any time on June 20 or after.
2. You’ll receive a logbook to record the titles of books you read this summer.
3. You need to read at least 4 hours during the 4 week period to qualify for the final reward.
4. You must read some of the books listed on the grade appropriate Summer Reading Genre Goals sheet.
5. Only books checked out from this library are eligible to be counted as part of your hours read.
6. Reading Logs MUST be turned in by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 in order to be eligible to go on the fishing trip.
7. Everyone who completes the program by finishing the 4 hours of reading will be eligible to go on the fishing trip to 4-Star Lake
8. The library welcomes children of all abilities.
